Sarah earned her Bachelor's in Social Work from the University of Central Missouri and continued her education at Missouri State University, where she obtained her Master's in Social Work. She employs a diverse range of therapeutic skills, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, and Written Exposure Therapy for PTSD to empower clients in achieving their desired results.

She specializes in addressing issues related to Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, anger and aggression, family conflict, and various other mental health concerns. Sarah emphasizes the importance of parental empowerment and support, particularly when children are involved in therapy, fostering growth and positive change for the entire family.

As an LGBTQIA+ ally, culturally competent professional, and kink and alternate-lifestyle friendly therapist, Sarah recognizes the uniqueness of each individual and family. She tailors her approach to care and treatment, ensuring that everyone receives personalized and inclusive support.

Outside of her professional life, Sarah enjoys spending time caring for her young son, two dogs, and two cats. She has a passion for nature, gardening, cooking, and crafting. Always seeking new creative outlets, Sarah finds satisfaction in turning ideas into reality and remains dedicated to exploring innovative ways to try new things.

Why Naturopathy

Why Telehealth?

  1. Accessibility: Telehealth eliminates geographical barriers, allowing individuals to access wellness services regardless of their location. This is particularly beneficial for those in rural or underserved areas.

  2. Convenience: Patients can receive wellness consultations and support from the comfort of their homes. This is especially useful for individuals with mobility issues, transportation challenges, or busy schedules.

  3. Time Efficiency: Telehealth appointments often require less time compared to in-person visits. This can be advantageous for both mental health providers and clients, leading to more efficient use of resources.

  4. Reduced Costs: Telehealth can result in cost savings for both patients and mental health providers. Clients save on travel expenses, and providers may benefit from lower operational costs associated with maintaining physical facilities.

  5. Flexibility: Telehealth offers greater flexibility in scheduling appointments, making it easier for individuals to find a time that suits their needs. This can contribute to improved client engagement and adherence to treatment plans.

  6. Continuity of Care: Telehealth facilitates ongoing communication between mental health providers and clients, promoting continuous monitoring and management of mental health conditions. This can lead to better mental health outcomes.

  7. Privacy: Telehealth platforms often incorporate robust security measures to protect client information, ensuring privacy and compliance with healthcare regulations.

  8. Patient Empowerment: Telehealth encourages clients to take an active role in their mental healthcare. Access to information, self-monitoring tools, and the ability to engage in virtual consultations empower individuals to manage their health more effectively.
